MENA Newswire: SriLankan Holidays has launched a new, state-of-the-art website with enhanced features and convenience in partnership with GoQuo, a Malaysian online travel retail platform provider on the opening day of Arabian Travel Market at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Passengers can plan and book their entire holiday through the multifunctional website including air tickets; hotels; transfers; tours; and ancillary services as a package or separately. Furthermore, the website is user-friendly; multilingual; mobile compatible; and offers a comprehensive inventory of options designed to fulfill customers’ every travel need.

SriLankan Holidays Launches Cutting-Edge Website on opening day of ATMPassengers get the best of both worlds with access to a plethora of hotels through SriLankan Holidays’ own hotel partner contracts and aggregators such as Agoda; Expedia; and Hotel beds. Hotel searches could be sorted by price or popularity, and passengers may further evaluate their options based on real-time ratings and TripAdvisor reviews which are also visible on the new site.

Customers who book their air tickets and hotel at the same time have the opportunity to unlock significant overall savings, an advantage that they would not otherwise enjoy. Additionally, customers may also arrange transfers and tours and purchase ancillary services such as excess baggage and advance seat reservations through the site.

The site supports several internet payment gateways and accepts Visa and Mastercard payments currently, while American Express; Discover; and Diners Club card payments would be enabled by May 2022. Customers have the option of viewing prices and paying in their preferred currency out of 31 international currencies. A customer will receive an instant booking confirmation once the payment is completed. The site also has a promo code feature and thus passengers could look forward to further savings during periodical sales promotion campaigns.

Richard Nuttall, Chief Commercial Officer of SriLankan Airlines states, “The website was developed with the customer experience in mind. Our aim is to add value to every step of the customer’s holiday booking journey, and in turn, encourage travelers from every corner of our network to holiday in Sri Lanka.”

“The new booking engine is expected to help SriLankan Holidays extend its reach in the global travel market through partnerships and co-marketing campaigns with a wide range of tourism service providers. We are also planning to collaborate with innovative and specialized small and medium-sized tourism enterprises in Sri Lanka that have the potential to provide unique products to our customers,” added Buddhika Hewawasam, Manager SriLankan Holidays.

The backend of the website is equally advanced and allows SriLankan Holidays to generate management information reports; update content through a content management system; and foster relationships with customers as its CRM-powered. For more information and bookings visit the new website.
