During the 32nd Arab Summit held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), reiterated the UAE’s commitment to supporting all efforts aimed at promoting stability and peace in the region.
Highlighting the significance of cooperation for fostering development and prosperity in the Arab region, Sheikh Mansour emphasized the need for collective action. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and King of Saudi Arabia, as well as Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, for their hospitality and the meticulous preparations made for the summit.
Acknowledging Algeria’s role as the president of previous Arab summits and the Secretariat-General of the Arab League for organizing the summit, Sheikh Mansour conveyed his appreciation for their contributions to the success of the event.
While recognizing the challenges faced by the region, Sheikh Mansour also highlighted some hopeful developments that could potentially lead to the resolution of local conflicts. He urged the Arab countries to capitalize on these positive advancements and strengthen their cooperation through economic and developmental collaborations.
In his address, Sheikh Mansour extended congratulations to Syria for its reintegration into the community of friendly nations, expressing hope that the country would overcome its current difficulties and achieve stability and prosperity.
Furthermore, Sheikh Mansour appealed to the Sudanese people to seek dialogue and compromise as a means of resolving the country’s crisis. He expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s role in facilitating talks and helping bring an end to the political deadlock in Sudan.
Following his participation in the 32nd Arab League Summit, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan departed from Jeddah, concluding his engagement at the event.
